San Diego Story
Our SAN DIEGO STORY begins when my sister Valerie calls and gets us so excited about "Art Alive" at the San Diego Museum of Art, that before our conversation ends, our minds are made up. We ARE going to see those living flowers which so artistically portray pieces of art, and we will travel there in good "old" style!
Because the granddaughter of Marc Chagall was on the docket to decorate the entrance during this spectacular event, we begin our own study of Chagall's life. His "Dreams" piece particularly interests us, so we put paint, pen, and crayon to paper and capture our dreams.
Next, we set off to purchase our tickets at the train station, as one would have "back when." We love trains. Nearly every home we have lived in welcomed the sound of trains passing through, yet the girls and I have not ridden on one together! Old suit cases and trains just seem to go together, so we pack accordingly for our 3 day trip in vintage style and count down the minutes until departure!

We knew loads of fun was in store, but never did we know how much fun and how much we would do in only 3 days (or 82 hours, 11 minutes) with Uncle Dave and Aunt Valerie leading the way! They gave us priceless memories, oodles of fun, and a great taste for riding the rails! Thank you Valerie and Dave!!!
One last thing, did I mention that the Blueys joined us in all the fun?!
THE END of our perfect SAN DIEGO STORY!
